Saturday, April 30th at Boyce Thompson Arboretum from 9 am to 3 pm

The Gold Canyon Soroptimists are hosting an art festival, 'Artisans at the Arboretum', in the picnic area of the arboretum. If you know Boyce Thompson, you know it's a great location, shady and picturesque; a great place to spend some time looking at art and also getting a chance to wander through the gardens. If you haven't been there before, this is the perfect time of year to discover the arboretum.

I'll be sharing a booth with Lisa Takata. There will be approximately 40 artist booths, food, and music. I hope you get a chance to come up and visit! Barbara

....article from the Superior Chamber of Commerce.....Art and Beyond Visitors on April 30 can browse 40 art booths in the Arboretum picnic area during the annual Gold Canyon Soroptimists 'Artisans at the Arboretum' fundraiser from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., an event which includes live music at no extra charge. Local restaurants will be selling fresh food in the picnic area that day too: burgers grilled by Superior's newest of all restaurants, the Uptown Cafˇ, as well as fruit cups and wraps from the TripleC Coffee shop, and carne asada tacos "for about $2 each" by Felicia's Ice Cream shop.
